01Who we are
We are a privately held firm, owned by our principals. We invest our own capital, which frees us from the fund timetables that shape most ownership decisions.
That independence is the foundation of everything we do. It allows us to buy businesses we would be glad to own indefinitely, to reinvest when it is the right thing for the company, and to stay committed through good years and harder ones.
We keep our structure simple and our team deliberately lean. Owners and managers speak directly with the people who make decisions, and we aim to be clear, prompt and discreet at every stage.

An owner that does not need to sell.
Many owners eventually face a choice between the buyer who offers continuity and the buyer who offers the highest price on a short timetable. We aim to be the former without asking anyone to compromise on fairness.
Because we are not obliged to sell, we can make investments that take years to pay off: in people, in systems, in relationships and in quality. Management teams can plan with confidence, and employees and customers can expect the business they know to remain recognisably itself.
We are realistic, too. Not every opportunity is a fit, and we would rather say so early than spend anyone’s time on a process that will not serve them.
